About this item

Pink Rose Frogspawn

Pink Rose Frogspawn (Euphyllia paradivisa) is one of the most beloved and visually captivating LPS corals in the reef hobby. Its soft, flowing tentacles in blush pink and cream sway gently with every current pulse, giving it an almost hypnotic, anemone-like presence that few other corals can match. Under reef lighting, the pink tips take on a warm luminous glow that becomes an instant focal point in any system.

As a branching variety, this frogspawn has a natural growth advantage — over time, each head will branch and divide, gradually building into a full, multi-headed colony from a single frag. What starts as one head today becomes one of the most impressive pieces in your tank over the coming months and years.

Pink Frogspawn is one of the more forgiving LPS corals available, making it an excellent choice for hobbyists stepping into large polyp stonies for the first time. It is tolerant of a wider range of conditions than many of its LPS counterparts, and once settled, it is a consistent, reliable grower that rewards patient reef keepers.

Special Considerations

Frogspawn extends long sweeper tentacles at night that can sting neighboring corals. Provide adequate spacing — at least 4–6" from other corals in all directions. Avoid direct, high-velocity flow which can prevent full extension and cause tissue irritation. Brown jelly disease is an occasional risk; maintain good water quality and avoid physical damage to the tissue during handling.

🔍 Aquarium Insights

Pink Frogspawn is a standout addition to any reef system:

  • One of the most graceful and visually dynamic LPS corals — the flowing movement never gets old
  • Branching growth habit means one head becomes many — exceptional long-term value from a single frag
  • A gateway LPS coral that delivers high-end visual impact without demanding high-end conditions
