Cappuccino Crown Feather Duster (Sabellidae sp.) is a refined ornamental filter-feeding invertebrate recognized for its soft cream and brown striped crown arranged in a full circular fan. The natural cappuccino-toned banding creates a subtle, elegant contrast that blends seamlessly into reef aquariums and macroalgae displays.
Each feather duster resides within a protective tube anchored to rock or substrate, extending its crown into the water column to capture suspended plankton, micro-particles, and organic matter. When undisturbed, the crown remains fully extended and gently sways with water movement, but will retract rapidly when startled, adding a responsive and interactive element to the aquarium.
